Last week, this week and next are a little wonky. House guests, a Tuesday photo challenge and VACATION NEXT WEEK. (Woo Hoo!) I’ll get back on a regular schedule soon enough!
This month’s photo challenge topic is Anything Goes. I chose “Corolla, NC” (Or HOME) as my topic. Can you blame me?!
1. This swimmer started near us and swam so far south I couldn’t see him anymore. When he finally appeared I was able to capture him in between the horizon and a school of dolphins. I don’t think he was even aware of the pod!
2. Temperatures were nearing 100 degrees while an upwelling caused the water to feel like ice. These girls found a bit of relief in a small pool of water. They looked like they had partially melted from the heat!
3. I was experimenting with different effects while taking pictures of this buck. I love how the miniature effect makes him look like a toy.
4. This woman was walking with her husband, bathing suit straps dangerously low on her arms. Spilling out of her suit, she nearly showed the world her gifts with every step she took. But you know what? SHE DIDN’T CARE! She was happy. She is my hero!
5. I saved this dragonfly, so the dragonfly let me take his picture. His colors were absolutely stunning!
