Time for the 2010 Ultimate Blog Party

It’s here again, the 5 Minutes for Mom Ultimate Blog Party! This is a fantastic way to find new blogs while those excellent writers find YOU! And the prizes? Oh my GOODNESS the prizes.

I am happy to be contributing a $50 Vanilla Visa Gift Card to the Blog Party Booty. Be sure to put me on your wish list if this sounds like something you can use!

As requested, I would like to introduce myself to those who did not party with me last year. My name is Katherine and I am the mother of two teenage boys and a 9 year old girl. “Shoot Me Now” comes from the fact that that I am constantly embarrassing myself in public – particularly when it comes to falling or breaking lights in my favorite 7-11. I suffer from Gastroparesis, but always try to look at the bright side of things. Always.

Wow. I’ve never heard of gastroparesis. Makes me wonder, though, if that’s what my mom has. She’s always had stomach problems. Maybe a much more mild version than what you described. But then she had gall bladder surgery a year or so ago and has had severe issues ever since. Hmmm… Anyway, I commend you for your great attitude about it. I think it’s great that you are putting your children first before wallowing in your pain and suffering. So sorry it is so difficult. I’m actually over here from the UBP and just wanted to say hi.
