The Future

Today’s photo challenge is entitled, “The Future.”  To me, my children represent everything about the future.  Indeed, they ARE the future.

I wish I could go back, but I cannot.  Instead, I will look at the future through my children’s eyes.  I will rediscover life as I watch them grow.  I will celebrate their joys and cry at their sorrows.  And one day, God willing, I will hold their own futures in my hands.

This is my cubicle wall at work.  Does it surprise you to see what it holds?

  • Nice collection of photos. I’m at the point where my grandchildren are my future. God help us all! (Just kidding.)

  • Great photo and photos on the wall too.

  • Lovely post and photo. I think that your cubicle wall speaks volumes and that the future looks remarkable!

  • Great take on the theme!

  • No it doesn’t surprise me.  Not one bit.  You are a great mom and I’ve always known that.

    Have a terrific day.  🙂

  • Not. In. The. Least.

    Beautifully done.

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

  • Really charming, Katherine!  Beautiful kids too!

  • I ought to have more pictures round my desk to remind me of the precious little ones.

I need more pictures to help me forget mine. Pictures of Italy and sports cars, maybe food or graveyards. Anything but pictures of my kids.

  • Awww.. This is such a sweet post, Katherine.

What a wonderfully sentimental post 🙂

  • Really touching, Katherine. And our work areas bear a striking resemblance to each other!

  • I’m sure you will guide them well.  If they get out of hand, make them kiss the fish.  (Kidding.) Sweet post and nice take on the theme.

    😉

That kid in the hat looks like trouble. I’d keep your eye on him, if I were you. Seriously, I can tell he’s up to no good.

(Great take on today’s theme, Katherine. But seriously, don’t trust that kid. 😉 )

I loved raising teenage boys. Never a dull  moment! You have some great looking kids!
