Stalker, DAMMIT!
Published on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 by

I had today’s challenge all worked out.  I got someone to help me.  Together we made a plan for a really neat shot.  I take a picture of him on top of the garage taking a picture of ME taking a picture of HIM.

The stalker gets stalked.

Pretty cool, huh?

And then I read THIS in yesterdays STUPID FREAKING COMMENTS wonderful comments:

“See, there is only one rule, and this photo was obviously taken by you, since September 1st. You won’t be getting a whipping today either.”

What the HECK!  There is only ONE rule, and I was about to break it?!   I had it in the can!  I was using an artist’s creative license!  For Stalking!  DAMMIT!

Yawnnn…. So here is my YAWWWWNNNNNNNNNN boring picture that was never meant to be used.  After all, I would never want to break the rules….

You should get away with it because you should get points for creativity. Thanks so much for your encouraging comments over at my place…I’m trying to move out of my comfort zone with my photography.

  • I think you had a brilliant idea and both pictures are great! Didn’t someone say we could break the rules once in a while…just wondering

  • I love both shots, but the composition of the second one is fantastic. Don’t worry about the rules – it’s just a small flogging, I’m sure.

  • I’m telling.

  • I think we’re going to have to change the rules. Since I’m the one in charge, (Michael’s really only eye candy for the ladies,) I declare that from now on you have to use a photo taken since September 1st. Either you have to take it yourself, or you have to be in it. There. I did it. (Good timing, too, because I totally cheated on my own photo.)

Now that that’s settled, I love your photo! Both of them. Absolutely perfect for the theme!

    • MikeWJ

      Hey, I’m more than eye-candy. I’m mouth-candy, too.

Oh, wow. That sounds really wrong.

I can support this rule change, Ziva. Thanks for consulting with me first. *whimper*

      • Mouth-candy? Please, for the love of god, do not explain this. Ever. I’m glad we agree on the rule change, though. Thank you for supporting my regime. 😉

    Katherine, you crack me up!!!!!

Hey, I’m LOVIN’ both these shots! And I ditto Laughing Mom’s comment…

“…the composition in the second one is fantastic!!!”

    Also, the color!

    Brava, girl!

  • I LOVE these pictures!!! Super cool. And also, I’ve broken the rules too, by having OTHER people take a few photos of me! I think you’ll be okay, but you MIGHT get whipped!

  • MikeWJ

I like both photos a lot, and for different reasons. The color, angle and composition in the second photo is awesome, and the first photo is creepy in addition to being well-composed and interestingly photographed — the swirly effect seems really appropriate, for example.

Huh. This is the most-intelligent sounding comment I’ve left yet for 30 Days. I hope I’m okay. I’m a little worried.

I’d like to put both pictures like real… meaning in 3D, taking photos each other. I like the effect on the first one and the balance you are in the 2nd photo. Nice idea!

  • Both photos are great but the second one is just amazing! Love it!

  • I would have broke the rules because the second one was very good!!! Great ideas shouldn’t be restrained by silly rules. 🙂

  • I think you are safe to break the rules. Rules are meant to be broken…right?

  • Paula Wooters

That IS a super cool picture! I vote you should be able to use it!

  • ladyV

sweet. i love it,look good. i like the 2nd one best.

  • Remember yesterday? They are your rules and you do what you want with them.

  • They’re both incredible, Katherine!

<– hangin' around for the flogging!

    Lemme guess…….there's a RULE about floggings too………

    *rolling eyes*

  • Love the perspectives.
