The Pumpkin Bus

I walked by this scene a few days after Halloween.

At some point over the weekend, these pumpkins were placed at the city bus stop.  Or they rolled to it themselves.  Either way, they waited all day for their chosen bus.  I know because I peeked out of my window several times to check.

The placement of these pumpkins tickled me to no end.  I imagine they made it through Halloween without getting carved, so they quickly took a bus out of town before it was time to cook pumpkin pies.

Who knew that pumpkins took mass transit!

    LOVE IT!

  • Hilarious. I wish you had been able to record their conversation while they waited. 🙂

  • Hey Katherine! I think they were young pumpkins, and they were eloping. “Daddy, you don’t understand me! You may want to be a pie at Thanksgiving, but I want so much MORE from life! Raoul understand me needs as a squash!” Indigo x
