Mooove Over, I Gotta Go!

You just can’t make this stuff up.  A new drink is in the works in India. The good news?  It contains no toxins, will be tasty, and won’t even taste like urine! 

You guessed it.  Well, maybe not.  The new soft drink is made out of cow urine.  And healthful herbs, of course. 

“Gau Jal,” which translates to “Cow Water,” is in it’s final development stages in Hardwar, India. 

Currently, cow urine is injested during rituals that help to purify lower members of the caste system.  There are some who claim cow urine can cure liver disease and obesity, along with many other ailments. 

I can see the commercials now.  “Tired from a long, hard day at work?  The economy got you down?  Then grab a can of Gau Jal.  Urine for a big treat!”
