Our Weeping Pyro Pet

My daughter had a few friends she wanted to send presents to this Christmas. I told her to pick some things out and put them in my Amazon cart. When I looked at what she chose I was intrigued.

“Honey, where did you find such a neat thing?”

She had picked out candles called “Pyro Pets.” They are geometric candles shaped like different animals, each containing a metal skeleton. As the candle melts, the skeleton emerges.

I surprised my daughter on her birthday with her own pink cat pyro pet.

What we didn’t expect, however, was the cascade of tears from the slowly melting kitty cat!

While the candle was melting, a hole appeared on the side of the face and wax “tears” began to flow. Let’s just assume they are tears of joy as the skeleton is finally freed from its waxy tomb. At least that is what my daughter said.

Herrrreeeee kitty kitty kitty!
