Leap!
Published on Monday, February 29, 2016 by

I didn’t take a single picture for this month’s photo challenge until this past weekend.  Why?  Because the theme was so hard….

LEAP!

When the idea finally hit me, all my pictures fell in to place.  With the help of some extraordinary girls, that is.

I took my first picture on the property of my gym.  This metal man sculpture looks like he took a flying leap.  I positioned my camera in a way to include water droplets from the pond fountain.

The rest of my Leap photos were taken in one day at First Landing State Park.  They are a package deal!

Letter A

Human Letter P

I have a bonus outtake picture this month.  The girls set up their letter E, I took a picture and said, “Ummm wait.  Was that backwards?”

Katherine, your photos for this challenge are absolutely BRILLIANT!!!! How CLEVER you are! And I am so impressed by the way she made the letter P – WOW!!!!

Also, that is a very cool picture of the metal man sculpture.

Well done, my friend. WELL done!

    Great job!
I love your interpretation of the theme.

    The “package” came out wonderfully!

  • And it’s a leap year too.

I love your take on leap.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  • Marie

I agree, I found this challenge hard too. Clever solution. Well done!

  • Very creative! I love it!

  • Kathy M.

    I love the lettering. 🙂

  • Fantastic set of shots, so well done.

  • Annabelle Spender

I love the lettering! It really is a clever take on the theme and the photos look great!

  • Lisa

LOL! It took me a second to figure out what you did….and I must say it’s brilliant! Bravo for taking a “leap” outside the box!

  • GeoKs

Such fun! I can’t imagine being flexible enough to make a letter “p” like that. Using in situ materials to craft the “L” and the “A” was really creative of you

  • What a super creative way to do the theme this month. Very nice. Heck, you could have even done an exclamation mark at the end, if you hadn’t found that first photo! 😀
