Today?  A Stranger!

kombucha scoby picture

I cannot imagine a stranger thing than having both a jar of Kombucha and a bag of blood worms on your kitchen counter.  Dinner, anyone?

I do not call this cheating.  I call it creative.  Yup, that’s it.  I am officially pulling the creative license card.  Happy Easter!

Believe it or not, I’ve had both these items on MY kitchen counter. It is strange, not to mention revolting, and I can’t begin to fathom why anybody would do it. But there you go.

I love your alternative take on the definition of stranger. Stranger indeed….

    • OMFG!! A a bag of blood worms on your kitchen = VERY STRANGE!! Good job girl!

  • I’ve seen some strange things in my oh-so-very long life, but this? This is really odd. Mostly because I don’t know why anyone would have both of these anywhere in their homes.

  • Um, and I thought I ate strange things… I assume these are for eating? Personally, I’d maybe consider throwing them at the neighbor you don’t like… Anyway, we’re all about creative license here, don’t worry. 😉

  • Creative license card…I’m going to have remember that for later.

As for the photo, ewwwww. 🙂

  • That stuff looks oogy to me.  Great photo though!

  • I grew up with blood worms in the refrigerator. They seem perfectly normal to me!! Your creative license might be the strange thing!

A very clever way to spin the topic 🙂

BTW, This is one of the things I don’t like about fishing: Imagine being half awake at 4:30 in the morning with food and bait on the the kitchen counter… Mix-ups would be a high risk for me :-/

  • Blech. Nice pic, I think.

  • *scramble* Where’s my paper bag?

  • I’m not even going to ask you why you have either one of these things either.

Have a terrific day and a very happy Easter.   🙂

    *laughing*  Definitely ‘stranger’–truth generally IS!

  • Nobody said that the stranger had to be human.  To be honest, I was going to take a photo of a very tall drinking glass.  Anything tall, fragile, glass and spillable has become quite foreign to me and I won’t even talk about stemware.

I understand Kombucha tea (as it might relate to your diet), but the worms are a bit puzzling unless they are to be used to catch your dinner (and I certainly hope you’re not eating them for dinner).

Different and fun take on today’s theme!

    😉

  • Funny! Very funny
    very nice and interesting article!

    everyone like it…

    thanks for the information…

  • Very odd…. But hilarious!  Great take on strange – er
