Jellyfish on Caffeine
Published on Monday, November 21, 2011 by

First of all, I miss everyone!  School, BAH.  I have no time at night to get things done, much less enjoy my favorite blogs.  I’m hoping this long weekend will let me indulge.  I can’t wait to see what you are writing about!

Speaking of indulgence, I was blessed to have some beach time this weekend in nearly 70 degree weather.  HEAVEN.  While walking I found two whole sand dollars, a few jellyfish, sea glass and the very rare Ocean Coffee Maker.  Honest, you can look it up!

The jellyfish were especially interesting this week.  After taking pictures, I noticed they each had, well, personality.  Tell me what you think!

Find the Hitchhiker Crab. I named him George.

Face on jellyfish

I see an odd face in this.

I can't quite put my finger on what this face looks like. Bluto? Santa? A Wise Man? Bob's Big Boy? What do you see?

    Hey Katherine!

Yes, I know what you mean because my life right now is getting VERY busy with the holidays approaching in retail. OMG…I’m DREADING Black Friday!!!

So glad to hear you were able to get away to the beach and enjoy the great weather. Hasn’t it been unseasonably warm this month?!?

Faaaaaaaaaaaabulous photos! They remind me of my time living Florida and finding jelly fish along the waters edge.

“The Catholic in me loves the cross on this jellyfish.”

    OMG…how funny! And  that’s amazing!!!!!

Have a great week, my friend!

Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving Day on Thursday!

    • Oh I forgot about the retail side of you… OH NOOOOOO this must be a living HELL for you! WOW! I am looking forward to some interesting posts on THAT! 🙂 I can’t imagine what you see – I might not even WANT to imagine it!

  • I love warm fall weather.  Okay, I’m a fair weather kind of gal.  How cool and odd faces is what I was thinking too.

Have a terrific day and a long and enjoyable weekend.   🙂

    • Thank you… !!! I hope you have a great weekend too… I plan to take more beach pix!

  • Jellyfish are so joyful to watch bobbing in the current (from the safety of one of those oceanarium tanks, of course) but so freakish on land. I am brave about a lot of things but not jellyfish.

  • I so see the face in that one!!! Whew! Glad I’m not alone (-:

I’m hoping to find some blog time this weekend also. That useless daylight savings time nonsense has done nothing for us bloggers.

    …Just thought I’d throw that in there. I knew you’d understand (-:

Enjoy Thanksgiving K!! Xoxox Mel (-:

  • holy crap. those jelly fish are HUGE!

Uh huh….definitely Santa with his hat and beard.  🙂

    70 degrees…..*sigh*  There’s something I miss already.
It was a whopping 24 this morning.  *shivering!!*

  • I see Santa’s face, but that could be because the 4-yr old has had me reading Xmas stories to him since November 1st!! I see Santa’s face everywhere these days LOL!

Ahahahahahaha!  LOVE the Ocean Coffee Maker!  I was staring at it trying to work out what it was, thinking I should know because it was on the beach, so it must be something which belonged on the beach… ROFL!

And yes, I do see the face!  It’s uncanny.  I thought Santa at first, but no.  I think he looks like Captain Birdseye!

  • How great to get to the beach!  We have nice weather today so hopefully everyone will enjoy!  I love that exotic ocean coffee maker but jellyfish give me the creeps.
