Our family enjoys giving unusual presents – particularly if they come with translated Japanese (or Chinese) instructions. One year we received a toy that had instructions poorly translated from Japanese to English. Our favorite line was, “Battery Into It.” From then on, any wonderful gem of a translation we find is now called a “Battery Into It.” Yesterday I went to the restroom in a Chinese Food Restaurant. I was tickled to find a real “battery into it” right in front of me, pointing down towards the trashcan. So I flipped out my camera phone and *click!* Battery Into It!
