Jane and the Dragon: My Very Creepy Mini-Me!

I recently saw a children’s animated show that FREAKED ME OUT. It might have even freaked my family out as well. And it’s all thanks to digital TV.

We don’t have cable. Never did. I can’t afford it, and even if I found a way I know that everyone would sit in front of the boob tube all day.

Now that we have digital TV, there are some extra channels we receive, including something called Qudo Tv. My daughter was flipping through and stopped on an animated show featuring a red head girl and a dragon. The show is called Jane and the Dragon. When Jane came on the screen, I stopped dead in my tracks.

JANE IS ME! In a very very very CREEPY WAY – Jane is ME!!! If you changed her green eyes to blue, I would swear the animator knows me personally. SERIOUSLY. If I was a star and was going to be animated on Shrek, this is what they would make me look like.

Same shaped face (in an animated way), same frizzy hair (in an animated way), same length (you know..) shudder…

So for those of you who know me, watch the video and tell me what you think. And to those who don’t, let me ask you this? Are you ever stopped by someone who says they know someone who looks EXACTLY like you? Or have you “seen” yourself on the big screen or on TV? Who is YOUR double?

I have a double – the vet that takes care of a dog owned by a neighbor. I tried to pet the dog one time and she backed away scared. I was puzzled because she is so friendly… the neighbor laughed and said, “Oh my goodness, you look just like her vet!”

Every year I am stopped in a store at least once by someone who thinks I look EXACTLY like someone else. They actually think that I am that person. It freaks me out a little bit!
