She wouldn’t call it gossip. Not really. Edna liked to think she was helping others. Stepping up when others wouldn’t. Or couldn’t. She was simply giving them a little push in the right direction.

“Alice Morley told her husband she was going shopping. But she went to the racetrack instead! Probably had a drink too, right there in the middle of the day! And then there’s Walter Edmond. I saw him eating out of the loose candy bins at the Safeway. He didn’t even buy a bag before he left. And speaking of bags… That Alice character that just moved to Winston. I believe she has augmented her breasts to try and tempt the good men of this town! And then….”

Bwhahahahahaha! Katherine, you TOTALLY got me on the finish!

    Brilliant ending!

” I believe she has augmented her breasts to try and tempt the good men of this town!”

    Well done, my friend!

    • Some of these posts haven’t felt inspired to me at all… it’s hard to write every day when you are on the go from 5:30 in the morning… but I had fun with this one. Thanks!

  • Oh I love listening to dirt. Most fascinating most of the time. Very well done.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

    • Oh yes it IS. 🙂 I do everything I can to not dish… but if someone is dishing I will bend an ear if it is a good one LOL.

  • Oh you got me with the ending…that’s a good one! Love the gossiping cows, too.

  • Paul

Heh heh heh. That was excellent and I wasn’t expecting the ending either. Well done.

  • Excellent use of the prompt. I like it. And I can’t imagine the look on the other side! (And like the others, the cow comic is great!)
