Another day of Nablopomo, or National Blog Posting Month finds me with the following writing prompt:
“Talk about the last compliment you received.”
I have two, actually. The first was said to me just a few days ago. I was driving my daughter to school and she was chitchatting about a conversation some children had at school. The subject came up about parents being “grown-ups.” My daughter told me she added to the conversation by saying, “Are you kidding?! My Mom will NEVER grow up!”
The second “last compliment I received?” That’s easy. Every time you leave a comment on this blog I take it as a GREAT compliment. The fact that you stopped by to read and then take more time to comment means more to me than you will ever know.
Thank you my friends, from the woman who will never grow up. I am honored and grateful for every comment you have left!
