That is how it started. My introduction to the young Australian singer and dancer, Cody Simpson. Picture Justin Bieber, only make him taller. That is whom we were going to see.
When I told my daughter she was going to her first concert, and that the concert was Cody Simpson, she raised her arms and screamed so high that house windows broke within a three-mile radius.
You would think I would have gotten a clue right then. If one tween girl can scream high enough to break windows, a concert hall full of tween girls can do what?

In all honestly, I had a complete blast at the concert. I got to see my two soul sisters who live very far away, I got to watch my daughter at her first concert, I got to see a very talented young man perform live and I got to experience real live blood pouring from my ear drums.
A good time was had by all.
My first real concert was Sean Cassidy. The sad part? The opening band was Journey, complete with the amazing Steve Perry. And all I could do was anticipate the end of Journey and the beginning of Sean Cassidy. How mortifying.
