Brown Nosing – 7-11 Coffee Style!

I admit it – I love 7-11 dark mountain roast coffee with a passion. Every day after lunch I pick up a refill cup and drink it at my desk.

A few weeks ago I purchased a new 7-11 coffee mug – a really cool one with a wide base and top. After showing it off to a few fellow coffee lovers, I finished up my coffee and ran all around my workplace fixing pc’s and software problems.

I must have been to at least 15 desks that afternoon and talked to each user face to face. When I got back to my desk, one of my co-workers asked what the big brown thing was on my nose. ACK!

Apparently the wide topped mugs leak just enough to form a thin layer of coffee on the top. As you drink, your nose touches the layer of coffee, leaving a lovely brown spot right on the tip of your nose!

My mind raced, remembering each person I talked to… knowing every one of them simply tried to politely ignore the big brown smear in the middle of my face… how embarrassing!!!
